10 on Tuesday!

  1. The job I really wanted replied yesterday with an automatic no.  I am bummed to say the least.
  2. I am trying to get any ideas on teaching Bryce at home.  Education is extremely important to me.
  3. Steven has football every day for the next 3 months!  Ugh!
  4. Blake is a salsa making fool!  He makes some yummy salsa too!
  5. Can we have just a little rain?  I think Huntsville had a bunch yesterday but none for us.  My yard is not liking this and I am not liking this.  It is too hot to do anything!
  6. I can't believe that school is starting in 2 weeks.  I wish they could put it off at least until the last week of August.
  7. I was able to eat with some great girlies on Sunday.  Two of which I haven't seen in at least 10 years and it was just like I saw them the day before.  Nothing changed and our little puzzle fits together perfectly!  It was great and a simple lunch turned into 4 hours before I even knew it.
  8. I have to get brakes on the mommy mobile.  Ugh, again!
  9. I love that Blake is supporting all my new ideas.  He really wants me to stay home and find something that I can do from here.  This way the bambino can stay with me.  I think I like that idea.
  10. Bryce got up at the crack of dawn again today.  I have got to get this boy to sleep just a little, even seven is okay with me!

Hey girl! Sorry you didn't get the job you really wanted :( I know you have probably heard this tons but God has a plan :)

Didn't we used to start school in late August? It just seems like there isn't much summer anymore.

Here is an education blog I read and it has some really good ideas.

I find that children's books are a great tool for teaching. You can come up with lots of different ideas on teaching different concepts. Example: a great ABC teaching book is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
Good luck :)

Sorry you didn't get the job... Something better will come up. Hang in there.

You have to keep us posted on how the teaching at home goes. I have often thought about home school but am just not sure on how it would go for us.

So sorry to hear about the job, but as you continue to pray for God to show you the way, THANK HIM for revealing that this path wasn't for you. He has much better things in store, promise!

Keep your chin up, and maybe look into A Beka books, etc. for Bryce. I have a friend who used them to homeschool her daughter and LOVED the curriculum. They start at nursery/preschool and work up.

Still thinking of you, girl!
